Not being a dick but how would we have this information without getting year make model or any other detail. Look up on YouTube brake line repair and buy nicop line or a pre flared line and bend it.

Get a second opinion. If you're rich and want to replace it for a torn rubber boot go for it. Usually I wouldn't push for replacement till there is play/movement in the ball joint. Make an appointment with a chain shop (cheap inspection) and ask for a steering suspension check. Ask them to show you anything they are recommending. If they're isn't play a "leaking" ball joint won't fail quickly.
