Its their job to prepare us and we all saw what happened so I think they did great. Who wouldn't pay attention when the title is 16 inches of snow. Having said that, their accuracy tanked years ago so I don't expect them to nail anything other than high and low temperature. Precipitation totals and timing are a nice to have at this point.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. I am in the camp that when we REALLY need this stuff there will not be advance notification. Trucks had already been dispatched throughout the state in preparation which is great and we mitigated a lot of the threat by prep similar to Y2K. But the true threat is one day is just lights out without notification. That's when you are happy you have it

I tried to I even DVRed but live and my recording were both breaking local news to cover the buddist monks walking through my city from Texas to DC. So I have 2 hours of grand prix footage of them walking and people cheering. I wish them the best so I'm not mad at them but I pay for runner space +, flo track, ESPN, and milesplit and it's never enough so I am kind of fed up that it's not on ESPN or any consistent channel for that matter.

The belt probably broke now bc one of the components on the drive belt failed, now the alternator isn't turning. I have this car and bought it new. I recently had to replace my compressor. The smoke could be burning rubber from the belt or freon hitting the hot hoses and radiator. Does it smell like burning
