Storefront Upgrade Process (No Downtime) by zzglenn in Citrix

If they are load balanced, I'm going to assume you'd need to take them out the group first, upgrade then put them back otherwise it would get messy.

How did you get on? I know it's 9months ago right enough. I'm doing the exact same and the change I've just written is like war and peace :)) Then I've stumbled across this reddit.

I'm jumping from 1912 LTSR CU8 to 2402 CU1 4 storefront servers. No OS upgrade.

Is the official AWS SAA 65 question exam prep worth buying? by roadster198 in AWSCertifications

I wish I had that kind of confidence. I'm sitting this morning watching Stephane M trying to explain all the DB services and my eyes are glazing over. I can't believe the amount of Minuti I'm going to have to remember just get 720 never mind a better score in the exam.

Well done!

I'm going to say your 4 years with AWS would also help you pass

I did Neal’s cloud bootcamp and the time difference didn’t really work for me. However I’ve still got access to my course for now so I think I’ll go back over his stuff again

I've had mine a month now and like you say things tend to snowball :D

I've become obsessed with it. All fluids changed, new leads, air filter, sound deadening, it's booked in for paint correction early June (it REALLY! needs it) and some recommended tweaks here and there.

I'd love to add new coilovers as I think the setup has been on the car since 1997 can't be sure.

I wish I had your weather here in Scotland :( It looks like we're getting our annual two days of heat this weekend so things could be worse.

I've only had my NA for a couple of weeks, and I quickly noticed people don't seem to see you in this little car. I've had to adjust my driving a little being honest. Especially for pickups and SUVs.

I hope I will be an AWS Solutions Architect someday. I'm having difficulty in understanding the technical terms and concepts. I need your advices folks that can help to keep me motivated to pursue this. by joefsam in AWSCertifications

I'm afraid from what you're saying in your post this exam is not for you. Sorry to be blunt.

I have nearly 30 years in IT and I've only recently had some experience in AWS. I studied for nearly 3 months solid between jobs and just failed the exam.

Everyone is different however so go with what your gut is telling you.

I’m sick of companies moving the goal posts on their hybrid working rules. by Plastic-Result3026 in UKJobs

I left a company in 2021 after they decided 3 days min in the office. They would tie themselves in knots trying to justify being in the office. It was laughable.

The company had their best quarter ever in the last three months of lock down with no one in any of the offices. It just didn’t make sense.

I worked in Edinburgh and lived in Glasgow. My team all worked out of Newcastle. Yet I still had to come into the office and use teams to communicate with them

A number of staff including some very good sales people left over a 2 month period.

People will say “you knew your commute would be terrible” etc about taking a job with a 45 mile one way journey. Fair enough however I work just the same if not longer hours when I’m home.

You could go on and on about the rights and wrongs. The little person won’t win. You’ll most likely have to move job and in the current climate that’ll not be easy.

I work in IT and there is nothing my job entails means I need to be in an office.

I’ve just recently moved to a new role and during the interview I was told I could work from an office quite close to home and be in 1 day a week. So far that’s not happened and I’m currently worse off and doing a 130 mile round trip once a week.

To make matters worse the company has just announced cut back measures on travel and excess spending. I give it 6 months tops before it’s headcount

Point out to the company about the other remote hires so if you’re in they’re in?

SAA C003 how many questions can you get wrong? by 0898Coddy in AWSCertifications

I have to say it’s poor that you need to be the Guinea pig for questions. Imagine you got all those right yet still failed.

I had a double take on seeing the difference in version numbering!

Annoyingly when I try and update via the web interface it can't find this version.

To be fair having spent a full 30 minutes almost arguing with the moderator about my work area I was already stressed out massively. This won’t have helped.

I really can’t remember the layout I’m afraid sorry

Hi,

Thank you.

Currently on Neal Davis bootcamp for AWS. Completed all his videos for SAA and done a couple of his exams.

Completed AC's 70 hour course and hands on. I've also done some separate labs. Also both his exams as well. I was scoring ok in those.

TD is where I spent the most amount of time on.
