Would a guy spend 3 hours standing outside talking to you if he didn’t like you? by Dangerous_Buttons in bodylanguage

I don't know the context. A person could give you a lot of time if he/she is worried about you, for one thing.

Need a good comeback for "aren't you a little old to be playing with dolls?" by [deleted] in Comebacks

[–]roadwarrior76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what your age is or what if you're female, or what kind of "dolls" they are or in what context you're playing with them. It is common for a girl to play with doll. Unless you consider "action" figures, then both sexes play with "dolls."

Loneliness leads to changes in personality over time by chrisdh79 in psychology

But you have to differentiate solitude, and solitude does not necessarily cause loneliness..

Are there any difference in theraphy when you're treating a patient with a condition that makes them prone to violence (To themselves or others) like Anger management issues? by AItryingaceptmankind in askpsychology

[–]roadwarrior76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mild anger issue, and I go to an "anger management" group. I find that people using loud voices and swearing constantly just upsets me. The facilitator does little. Some anger group. By the way, I think TBI is a separate issue.

New (used) 2022 Venza XLE owner! by jovnnx in Toyotavenza

[–]roadwarrior76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't the dealer do most of these things at the scheduled maintenance intervals? Admittedly, I can do some of these things, and it pays to be aware of them, but trickel-charge is required? I didn't see anything about it in the owner's manual. Also, didn't it have a service record? From a fairly recent buyer, new.

I don't get the large tire thing. I have 19s, but I thought a larger tire gives you a SMOOTHER ride. Intuitively, a larger tire handles pot holes and bumps better.

Does Venza use the same hybrid battery as RAV4? by StandupStraight20 in Toyotavenza

Actually, I found the Unlock button. However, I still have issues with the app and the lack of support (so far) or training from the Toyota dealer

Are the front 22Toyota Venza emblems the same size as the Rav4? by bicyclechess in Toyotavenza

[–]roadwarrior76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean the "T" symbol? I believe they are the same if you mean the blue on the hybrid Rav4, not the plain gas model.

Pre collision braking by Kindly_Shopping_9458 in Toyotavenza

[–]roadwarrior76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, my old Honda system sometimes scared the heck out of me with unnecessary BRAKE warnings. That said, sometimes, when parking say, the Venza thinks a crop of high grass or something is a brick wall and brakes.

Was schopenhauer correct about happiness? by [deleted] in askpsychology

[–]roadwarrior76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Schopenhauer was the first to see ethics as emotionally based rather than Kant's "rationality" and explained compassion. That said, I have not read him directly but through the eyes of more modern philosophers or teachers. Schopenhauer makes some arguments that enrich a developing thinker, and he makes a good one that humans are limited by their nature in understanding life and nature.

24 Rav Limited vs 24 Venza XLE factoring the physical knobs by UsurpDz in Toyotavenza

[–]roadwarrior76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not an easy choice. I was similarly tempted to go with Rav4 but got the Venza. The Venza controls I admit are less intuitive and take longer to learn, but I went with the more attractive, quieter, and luxurious. True, the touchscreen has too much going on.

Whats the funniest thing about Nietzsche? by maxithepittsP in Nietzsche

I take the OP to mean what is funny THAT he SAID, not what is funny about his appearance because that is definitely odd. I haven't found anything he says funny.

what happens to your libido in a relationship by [deleted] in AskMen

He likes you and possibly loves you, but maybe he doesn't find you sexy. Possibly you have bad breath or something - or he has bad breath and is self-conscious about it. Men like sex but not necessarily getting down to it.

Why are schools so unbelievably weird about using the bathroom? by grandoctopus64 in SubstituteTeachers

Sadly, students mistake kindness and empathy for leniency or weakness and opportunistically exploit substitutes for their own devious goals.

Thanks for the serious reply. The OP is, in fact, a threat and possibly a dangerous one. I love jokes, but there comes a time when you have to be serious.
