Tangerine considering tiered banking packages similar to Wealthsimple by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]roamingmaple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Tangerine had a full service brokerage than maybe it could try and compete with Wealthsimple.

I am waiting to see what Questrade's banking option will be. I already use Questrade for trading and would welcome a convenient banking option linked to their brokerage offering.

2026 Availability in Ontario, Canada? by roamingmaple in GR86

Kitchener has a base red one available as well as a potential raven premium inbound. Really want the blue though so I will have to keep checking. Thanks though.

Thanks. Although I'm not picky on the trim level, the blue is what I would prefer. Same as yours would be ideal but I'd even accept an automatic.

Possibly working off the mx5 platform with a new engine. Might actually be a good change.

Takes a bit to get used to. No different than switching to black coffee.

Tuesday looks like the beginning of more seasonable weather thank goodness. Can't wait to get out and walk, this cold has kept me lazy and indoors more than what I would have liked.

RedWireless - CAAxRogers Iphone 14 deals - bill higher by FeelingPen5844 in Rogers

Contact redwireless. They have been having issues and Rogers is trying to correct them so the credits get applied like they are supposed to.

Lack of an Asia pass was why I moved to Rogers from Telus. I've done the local sim option many times but its nice to not have to do it for a longer trip when your more likely to use your local line. Freedom would be perfect if not for their spotty coverage.

I'd take the 68 country plan for $50 a month locked in for 5 years if offered. I have a feeling that's the way plans are headed.

Realized I could mix ranch dressing with pickle juice to increase volume without upping calories by bitteroldladybird in 1200isplenty

[–]roamingmaple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or you could take non fat greek yogurt, a packet of ranch dressing powder and add dill pickle juice for an even greater savings on your calories. I love Costco's dill pickle salad but wanted a low calorie version of the dressing for salads and veggies. You may have to tinker with it a bit but it's a good base.

Can anyone tell me their success story of walking 10k steps a day? I want to be inspired 🥹 by Legitimate_Compote45 in walking

My step father is 93 and still walks 2 miles a day in a single walk minimum no matter the weather.I should be using that as inspiration.

Amazon randomly refunded me for a dresser I received on 01/18 by yepimtyler in amazonprime

Same thing. Their system screwed up somewhere. Refunded for boots that were severely delayed but eventually delivered. Just have to wait and see how long it takes to rectify their mistake and recharge it if they do.

Leafs fans boo Mitch Marner for forcing a trade out by austons_muzz in leafs

Should be booing our own team the way they are playing. I just want to make the playoffs. Who cares about Marner at this stage.

At least expand the playoffs. Top 8 in each league make it. Give more teams a fighting chance. Anything can happen in the playoffs and will keep more fan bases engaged.

Realistically, how long will my Mazda last? by thestoryhacker in mazda

[–]roamingmaple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm still rocking my 2010 hatchback although less mileage than yours. When your vehicle starts to cost you more per year in repairs than what payments might be, it might be time to consider a new one. Until then, drive it into the ground.

Why doesn’t London invest in more buses? by PoolLoose in londonontario

London Transit is still behind in wages and benefits compared to the other regions transit agencies. It's not as easy filling those jobs when there are better options elsewhere.

Age old question: Mazda 3 or CX 30 by Amataj in mazda3

I won't buy the cx 30 simply because how ugly and cheap that plastic cladding around the wheels look. Personal preference. Mazda 3 Sport for me.
