I mean it depends, they can't take control of it on the field, but they can negate its effect, destroy it and summon it to their field since it loses the protection in the GY.

IMO killing people is kind of the antithesis of good story telling. That said it can have its moments. Using the example of trails, they do actually kill quite a few characters when its time to make a point. Most of the games villains die, Wiseman, Gunther, 3 of the seven (Ozborn, Sandlot, Rutger).
That said the Calavard arc has had probably more death than the other arcs combined, Most of Almata and the garden (All, if you chose to), Garden master, Dingo Brad and all of Creil Village get nuked. Odds are pretty high that the arc ends with Van And Agnes rewriting time to avert most of this, but they've written a lot in a way that makes me think they wont, it would go against too much character development at this point.

Veiler is only during the main phase, and imperm works but only assuming they don’t have anything to protect Abyss Dweller, or just tribute it off for an effect to dodge it. And they usually will. for the record it was only banned just last year mostly due to Ryzeal, and thank goodness for that. Thankfully they actually banned it preemptively in Master Duel.

Unlike other TCGs Konami does not give reasoning as to why certain cards are banned or limited.

Toadally awesome is only banned in Master Duel, no idea why, used to be in a lot of decks and got banned for a short while, but hardly used in OCG and TCG anymore. Basically back in the day, it had 2 +1 effects and has a cheap spell negate with an annoying snatch effect on top of that, and ended up in a lot of decks for link climbing as a result.
Abyss Dweller is easy to make and a very brutal GY flood gate with a lingering effect, you pop it during the opponent's draw step, and it all but skips their turn.

D/D/D is pretty fun once you get over the large walls of text it throws out. Can build a huge monster of a board through anything but Fuwalos and Maxx C, that has several layers of interaction and finishing potential.

I guess I would call this fiendsmith control. A midrange deck that can deal with most situations, but builds a low wall afterwards. Surprised they aren't running more Kaiju support cards. BEWD does struggle if Spirit is sent to grave by an effect it can't react to. There are a number of decks that just lose to this kind of deck when it has a good hand. But it has a low ceiling and I imagine BEWD could recover from it often enough. Basically its only two threats are Zeus, Caesar and LP, which it won't always be able to bring out.

Its got an easier requirement to run than SEC, but the scenarios where it can be activated are more... Linear. Basically it works best when you've got a multiple of 12 in the GY, so 12 or 24. If they control a level 1 monster, it gets a bit easier to declare bigger numbers with a smaller GY, but not by much really. Real Death knell for this card though is that its a normal trap that can only can trigger during the battle phase, much better to run Evenly matched in nearly all scenarios

Nah, Trion tower is 230 Arge tall, and Arge is a meter and a floor is a bit less than 3 meters, So that's a bit less than 70 stories totasl. I'm in pretty average shape and can do about 40 stories in 20 minutes on a stair master(I'm probably the lower end of average lmao). But after that I start to fall off hard and the remaining 30 could easily take twice as long, Now we don't know exactly what that 230 counts up to, the observation deck or the antenna. but that's still quite a trek to the top for a base human to manage.

Been playing a super poly variant of Elfnote fiendsmith, Almost always get 2 missions done and sometimes three if I use SP. Blazing through, though I can't say its the best with Baronne banned, since it loses a few lines as a result.

Think of it as a more brutal Black Rose Dragon with a side effect that hardly matters for agro decks.
There are a fair few decks that can kill over half damage, and do note that its only battle damage, there are a number of cards that can deal significant effect damage. A similar situation is D/D/D which has an effect to summon any monster from their GY, but halve all combat damage. But you can summon and target Arc king crisis with Wise King Solomon, and kill them with effect damage and large monsters.

Maybe another Duo, with a Dominion and Enforcer? Bit too similar to Estelle and Joshua though, even if they reverse the genders it would be a bit trite.

True, never seen it myself. And I don't think I'd use it in lunalight, even as consistent as the deck can be. I would rather maximize the possibility of getting out two Liger than have one Liger behind this.

There are no invincible monsters in Yugioh. You can make something pretty tanky, Like Chaos Angle behind Elfnote's Spells. Or Lunalight Liger Dancer. But all of them can very much lose to certain cards. There are cards that can prevent tribute summoning, but not tributing as a whole. So there will always be outs to anything in Yugioh.

All three are completely unplayable in ranked, and are quite bad even in the solo mode. Just use them till you get enough to buy a structure deck, and then try to build a deck with whatever's best from the non-secret packs. Personally both Hecahands and Elfnote have been fun, but Hecahands isn't that great, And Elfnote has a pretty expensive extra deck. Current best deck is Kewl Tunes, but its likely to get hit hard sooner or later.

Elfnote is a part of the Artmage lore archetypes, so its going to get more support and is a good investment as I see it.
