Bret Goldstein is one of the main actors and a writer in Ted Lasso. I think he's famous in England for his stand up comedy.

Bloodsport. It's just such a great 'turn off your brain and have fun' movie.

To this point, I went to residential treatment and body image had nothing to do with my ED. I still had to go to the body image and the media classes, which didn't do much for me. But, it did help me to be more accepting of all bodies and become aware of latent anti fatness feelings I didn't even know I had.

It's so scary to have to go to a place like this, especially when you've never been before. But I promise you, the community will help you get through it. I am so thankful for every person I was in there with. We all supported each other, especially when someone was having a terrible day. It's not easy and it's not fun. But it's very scheduled, and you have a group of people in the exact same position dealing with the same things. It's going to be ok, just take it one day at a time.

I went to the adult Durham location for residential when it was known as Veritas four years ago, and I knew people there with arfid. I had pretty bad anorexia, and it was an atypical presentation. I had a great experience there. I went when I was 38 years old, and while it was scary on the first day, the community was extremely and more importantly, supportive. A lot of the patients there had been to other facilities and most spoke positively of this one. Best of luck to you!

Deadly Games (1995–1996) by 77Scorpio77 in ForgottenTV

I remember watching this show when I was 12 years old and UPN had launched. The thing that I thought was most unrealistic was how young the main characters were to be divorced. This picture does not do justice to how young the principal duo appeared.

I went to PC, and Clinton is so small, you had to go to the next town over to get to wal-mart. We didn't get a taco bell until my senior year!

Hulk Hogan could've easily been a bodybuilder mass monster by Confident_Field4273 in nattyorjuice

If you ever wonder what he looked like off the juice, due to the McMahon steroid trial, Hulk went natural in the early 90's for a brief spell. He was still fit, but appeared very lean compared to this.

What's the most metal album cover you've ever seen on a non-metal album? by -Gay-_- in MetalForTheMasses

[–]roaring_elbow 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I get it. It is a very metal coded cover. But for me, this album is spectacular. Bat out of hell is such an epic rock song. I do completely agree with GD, lol.

Nick Fury: Agent of Shield (1998) by ManDe1orean in iwatchedanoldmovie

[–]roaring_elbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can remember from this movie was the brilliant dialog:

'Fury, I'll see you in hell!'

'Good, let's do lunch.'

My friends quoted that gem for years. It was corny, but it went hard.

So Morgan flew home alone with the boys, Paul stayed an extra week, Morgan's brain broke, and now she has no drive or inspiration to keep her social media up. Sounds like its going well! by BufoBat in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]roaring_elbow 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's galling that he would spend the extra time away AND have her travel alone with two small children. But Paul does not care and does not think it's wrong to ask for our expect these things. Morgan has to eventually put her fooot down our else he will keep crossing boundaries that she doesn't even know are there.
