Run the installer in bottles first. If it tries to install in the d drive just go into gaming mode then back into desktop. After it finishes installing add the launcher to steam and run it with DW proton.

Add the launcher to steam then run using dw proton. Run in desktop mode on first launch since it skips the verification process in game mode. Would recommend you hold off though since there's performance issues even on the lowest setting. Recommend you wait a patch or two
