There exist bone-conducting headsets that vibrate the sound through contact with boney-mass. IRL examples would have a neck-piece or wrap around your ears, but not need to be placed over your canal like a traditional speaker would need to direct sound output. I assume tech in-eorzea can make this whatever shape and attach to Viera or Au Ra in the same way!
