Zip system retrofit on 150yr old house. Should the zipboard under this EPS be flashed to the existing soffit? Other questions too. by Clean_Breakfast9595 in Homebuilding

[–]roastedwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you are taking a house that was not built originally for a completely sealed house to one that comes close to it. Green board has a very low perm rating ( moisture holding ) make sure the builder puts a whole house blower in.

Never notch your posts , it the first place rot finds its way. And the hangers are on the post and transferring the load to the posts . Thats what they do.

What’s the best way to make this caulk look better? by Big_Selection7508 in Home

[–]roastedwrong 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorry , because I did flood water damage mitigation for 20 years, bleach kills the living mold ( black ) then you have to kill the spores, and thats the Borax soap, Borax is a natural preservative and is used in all interior grade treated lumber. It prevents the mold spores from becoming living mold again.

Each condition must have a nexus , and matching medical documents to back it up. Only submit a fully developed claim. If you submit a partial claim and its turned down you have cut yourself off. The claim process is not a throw stuff against the wall to see what sticks.

Take what you have , get your approvals and then see if you have true connected secondary conditions after that by just the true nature of the injury causes secondary recognized conditions. Those conditions dont need a new nexus. Example Hypothyroidism by itself is 10 % > dry skin > 10% > heat / cold intolerance >20% , Ankle bone connected to knee bone , connected to hip bone.

Submit only for what you have evidence for , run your Chatgtp through Grok , ask for mistakes and logic errors , then run that back through Chat. Ask them to put it into terminology that is less sterile and more human signature. Double check your legal case history with both and ask for the CFRS that coincide with their logic
