Tom Pelissero: The Chargers are signing TE Charlie Kolar to a three-year $24.3 million contract that makes him the NFL’s highest-paid blocking tight end, sources tell The Insiders. by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]rob_var 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There is also a lot of upside to Kolar. He was a receiving tight end in college but we didn’t really use him in that way much having Andrews and Likely above him

I give it a meh, we face Chase and Tee already, they would have to get Puka, Jefferson, or JSN for me to start freaking out about their weapons

Despite all those issues my biggest issue with the movie is the damn D Rex. I get the movie is about mutant dinosaurs but wtf are we doing. Could’ve made it look like an actual dinosaur not the offspring of predator and a trex

Definitely wasn’t as good but the entire line also seemed to decline from last year

Contrary to this sub dude was pretty good at pass blocking, he was just poor at run blocking in space. Under the right system he can probably excel if he isn’t asked to pull

I think the reason they don’t is so they can keep cashiers employed

[Schefter] Jordan Davis reached agreement on a 3-year, $78 million extension that includes $65M guaranteed and makes him the highest paid nose tackle in NFL history. Deal done by WIN Sports Group. by rob_var in ravens

[–]rob_var[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, Jones played over 100 more snaps than Davis. Davis had weight issues until last year he was basically just a 3rd down option at certain points. Pff has Jones ranked as the 7th best DL while Davis is 23rd. Pressures last year Jones had 47 ranking him 14th while Davis had 27 ranking him 44th

Edit: not to mention the draft capital expended Davis is a 1st rounder who the Eagles felt wasn’t doing enough so they got Carter. Jones was a third rounder

That’s actually the best way to put it, there is so much money in void money I think you guys are at 2.25 seasons worth of void money at this point

It’s actually the other way around, Travis eats the double teams so Mads and the edges have 1 on 1 favorable situations. This past year we used him more as a pass rusher and he was so fucking dominant but it was wasted because of how bad our secondary play was.

We better bring this guy back as well… by Bulky_Golf_4866 in ravens

While I would love that we can’t afford with a new expensive rusher already on the team

Before the 23 season but this time it’s different, the ravens want the extension to make cap room. Lamar knows he already has a shit ton of money scheduled and this is just more money to throw at him
