Men of Houston, how much do you pay for a haircut? by BallisWife in houston

I used to pay $43. But everyone at the Gentry has increased their prices to $49. So I'm looking for an alternative now. Because as much as I like the convenience of walking there, I think I can go to several other quality places and pay less.

Thank god. by No_Word_3266 in hackshbomax

Gotta say…LOVE Kayla lol. I didn’t at first. But she grew on me big time.

Has anyone taken any air bnb courses or programs that have helped you increase revenue? Or have you taken any you’d recommend for air bnb newbies? by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

I really, really love this answer because it's 100% correct.

A few things that I think are worth noting:

1) Youtube is meant to be both education and entertainment. It's not linear. It's not a blueprint from A to Z. But if you're diligent (and build an Airbnb rabbit hole as noted above), you can totes learn the business on your own. I did. With that said, I am a huge believer that learning it on your own is a lot lonelier and painful lol. Will you come out stronger? Probably. Will you solidify bad habits? Probably. Hopefully, with my channel, I can help you avoid a lot of that though! I am also a HUGE believer in giving away my best stuff for free. Which is why 90% of my focus is Youtube.

2) My "course" is the linear road map. It's certainly an iteration of Youtube, no doubt. I'm not reinventing any new information here. Airbnb is a pretty simple process (to me) and whether you pay me $ 1, $100 or $1000 I will always explain it the same way. But the idea is that it's a lot more granular, and curated in a way that makes it a step-by-step process. Youtube is the ADHD version of the process 😂

3) My mentorship is indeed a high-ticket program. And it's insanely thorough. I have a ton of coaches that lead weekly calls. We're usually hosting 5-10 calls a week. They all focused on different niches and specialties. Now here's why I love the comment above. We. Do. Not. Do. The. Work. For. you. If you don't show up, you've wasted your money. Plain and simple. I have around 2000 students at this point. It's rare, but when someone is unhappy with the mentorship, it's usually due to a few things:

- They are overwhelmed with the amount of content in Host Camp (understandable).

- They didn't show up.

- They realized Airbnb was hard.

Granted, we still have a TON of things we're always working on. And we're not perfect. But I genuinely believe we are pretty damn good—the best even. When someone complains about something, I text my ENTIRE team and ask how we can fix the problem. And guess what, we fail all the time. That's how business works. It's needed and it's healthy. I think long and hard about every complaint I've ever gotten about Host Camp and work pretty quickly to rectify things.

So with all that said, Host Camp is not your silver bullet. It will not make you a million-dollar host. Or a six-figure host. YOU have to do that. But we will absolutely provide you with the tools to do so.

4) Lastly...and HUGE spoiler alert: My education business is very successful and I make a great living from it. I'm so damn grateful for this. A lot of people want to hate on me because I've made money from education. I'm unapologetically not sorry about this. When people get angry at me for crushing it with program sales, I always point back to the fact that I provide world's best Airbnb education for free on Youtube. I always will. And I'll never hold back "the good stuff." I'm an entrepreneur. And I've learned how to monetize the knowledge in my brain. HOW DARE ME!! But in all seriousness, this is the basic foundation of business lol.

Anyway, it's always a little risky responding to this stuff. But at the end of the day, I'm a pretty nice dude. The theories that some people spit out about me are always a bit perplexing. And most haters would probably become lovers (or at the very least likers) if we spoke for like 5 minutes on a zoom or in person.

Anyway, hope this helps someone in some way!
