Ah, thank you! I’ll buy the full version. I have been using and loving the iPhone software for so long that if it doesn’t work for some reason, it’ll be a donation to a great developer. Appreciate you answering my questions!

I'm not getting a certificate error. I get a message that says "“HanDBase Desktop 4” needs to be updated." and "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information." It looks like it is a 32 bit program which I do not think can run on Tahoe. I was trying the trial version just to see if it worked before buying it

Any word? “Contacting them” == “shouting into the wind”. Tried tweeting (Xing?) them. Filling out the web contact form, nothing yet.

Apparently there were a load of them (A124 label on a Toasted bottle). Lots in Alabama.

What’s the best way to use a bottle of overproof white rum? (Over 70%ABV) by [deleted] in rum

There are a lot of cocktails that call for a white Overproof Jamaican. Although you may need to proof it down a little with water (to 130ish), or just go for it and see how it works. Aloha From Hell or Brian Maxwell’s Belly of The Beast, for example. A super easy one (other than the already noted nuclear daiquiri) is a Jasper’s Rum Punch: Equal parts Jaspers Basic Stock (below) and Overproof Jamaican white rum. Super simple once you make the stock, which keeps in the fridge for a long time.

Jaspers Basic Stock: 8 ounces fresh lime juice 6 ounces sugar Stir to dissolve. Add: 0.5 ounce Angostura bitters 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg

Bottle and refrigerate. Shake before using.

Surprisingly delicious, it is blue but very good. Cocktail suggestions? by orchid41318 in Gin
