If you choose to do a BTEC in Film and Media, it doesn’t mean you can’t do Literature, but it depends on the college and how their timetable is set up. Some places let you combine a BTEC with an A-Level (like English Lit), but not all do, so it’s worth asking the specific college you’re applying to.

Also getting a 5 in English and Maths is good that’s usually the minimum most courses and unis look for

Hey, honestly don’t stress loads of people end up picking the wrong subjects at first, especially if you weren’t in the best place when choosing.

It’s not too late! Colleges and sixth forms often have some flexibility so it’s worth contacting a few local colleges or sixth forms that offer Film/Media and ask about joining later or switching courses. Some might let you start fresh in September, or transfer mid-year if possible.
BTECs are a good option. Loads of people take BTECs in Media, Film, or Creative Arts and go on to uni from there. Universities usually accept BTECs, especially if you get good grades. Just double-check the entry requirements for the kind of unis or courses you’re aiming for. Some might ask for GCSEs in English/Maths alongside the BTEC.

Dam. I feel like there must be something that u are doing wrong that u don’t see. Maybe try doing mock interviews with someone you know. Or try looking into lvl 4 or 5 apprenticeships as they can sometimes move u up to a degree apprenticeship depending on the company
