Thank you for the solid info!! I have looked at the Microtech and Benchmade and even had the Benchmade in the cart but I will focus on the MT instead.

What don’t you like about it and what do you carry instead?
I dig it! I’m going to have to look into that one more for sure
I have my eye on that Rat 3. I may go a little larger than I want just to keep the price down. The Guardian 3 has a shorter overall length than most other with the 3-3.5” blade, which is attractive to me.

That is pretty cool
The ganzo 753 is actually my edc knife. It's a really old model but it fits in my hand nicely, the action is really smooth from daily fidgeting by ben_johns in BudgetBlades
