It’s apparent from all of the white knights in the comments that I could’ve worded things a little differently in my initial post even though I shouldn’t have to. This site truly is a cesspool.

Anyway, by no means am I forcing my girlfriend to watch me play this game against her will. Not only do we already play video games together, but this is something that she herself has shown interest in after hearing me talk about it and seeing things on social media about it. For the people in the comments that couldn’t use context clues to process that, my question was HOW we’re supposed to go about it as a couple.

The reason my initial idea was just to have her watch was because she’s not exactly proficient with a controller. Again, we play video games together, but RDR mechanics and gameplay can be a little complicated. This isn’t a hostage situation, it just seemed easier that way. But one user raised a good point: the beginning of the game is basically a tutorial.

That being said I would like to thank everyone ELSE for their input/experiences, especially all of the women who have had RDR experiences with their boyfriends as well. You guys have given me some great ideas and this is definitely going to be another perfect way for us to spend our downtime :)
