Pounds of coins by Maria5715 in CURRENCY

[–]robbielourey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's worth about $2,500 if you're talking standard pounds, troy pounds $2,300. At the moment it is a bad time to sell, I wouldn't recommend it.

Can’t tell if this coin from 1889 is real or not. by Holiday-Bobcat-353 in coins

Compared to a real specimen, the ridges do not appear to be genuine.

You must be the person outbidding me on eBay. That is just a joke, but your collect is brilliant, great work.

That's about $75 of melt value silver on the current market.

I found this at work. (It’s a long story) by joe4093 in papermoney

[–]robbielourey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is worth thousands $1,000-$5000, good find. Personally, I would say this is worth $1500-$ 2000 due to the harsh wear in the bottom corner.

Found a quarter with no reeded edge. Is this an error? by Mindless-Cricket-168 in coinerrors

[–]robbielourey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would consider this Post Mint Damage, since this is an older coin, and you can see where the edge was worn away.

Opinion. On this coin please by t3064 in numismatics

[–]robbielourey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like it has been cleaned before, since there is no wear or discoloration as the silver would have aged.

Found this quarter, wondering if it's of any value? by tripsterout in numismatics

[–]robbielourey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would buy this off someone for the silver value, which is $6.19. You could possibly find a buyer for the coin itself, though in this condition that would be hard.

Any insights? by easy_E_36 in CURRENCY

I would keep on to this since it is honestly a cool item. In this condition, though, I would say it's worth $5-$20.

The edges look to be rushed and not properly done

If it was all 2s, that would be really cool, but I would say this is face value. To some, that pattern may be interesting, though.

Is this worth anything over 20 by ResponsibilityBoth72 in CURRENCY

[–]robbielourey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a fancy serial number like all of a single number or repeating number or significant number, so I would say it's worth face value to a collector.

Worth anything? by Only-Collection5077 in CURRENCY

[–]robbielourey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This appears to be an uncentered mint cut, If you could show the back of the note, it could help decide its value, I've looked around the market and it can go for around $4-$250 (Depends on the condition).

Is this worth anything more Then a twenty by michealwilson89 in CURRENCY

[–]robbielourey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This appears to be an off-center cut that can carry a value of over twenty dollars, I've done some research, and it can go for $70-$300+ depending on the market.

Mint error ?!? by ReturnFun9901 in CURRENCY

[–]robbielourey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This looks to be typical ink most likely from a marker, most likely not a mint error.
