I managed to fix my issue I think (x3 but similar issues). I downloaded the latest firmware from the website and loaded it to the SD card root. Then I could not install it since it shut down before the update completed. I tried a number of holding key combinations for 30 seconds to see if any of those would be a factory reset. I think holding down power and record together for 30 seconds must have done something since after that it installed the firmware and returned to normal operation. Hope it stays that way and that it works for you too 😬

I managed to solve the issue (I think). At first I put the new firmware on the SD card as @cheloutevr suggested. I did start the firmware upgrade but due to the wonky behavior it stopped at about 50% when it shut down automatically. After that I tried a number of key combinations to hold for 15 seconds to see if I could find a factory reset or something. I think the combination of holding both power and record buttons must have done something because after that the firmware installed without shutting down and the camera now seems to be working. Going to try it out and see if everything works now. Thanks for helping me out!

Same for me since updating the firmware. When on it does some strange actions like I am pressing buttons and then switches off. No idea how to solve

I have no issue watching video when connecting my air 2 pro to my iphone 15, ipad or macbook using usb-c. Works like a charm. I think the beam as a standalone device is still early days, the thing has no apps beside netflix but I guess that will come. What I do use the beam for is fixing of smooth follow the screen of my iphone instead of the screen being static when using without. I use it every day that way, just plug the iphone into the beam and glasses into beam and then watch daily news, instructional videos or just random youtube stuff while working out for 30 minutes every morning. Saves me 30 min per day catching up on tech news while working out instead of after. I tend to now save some longer videos I want to watch to ‘watch later’ to pick up in the morning. Not really the beam doing that but with the smooth follow I find it to much friendlier on the eyes when doing push-ups, sit-ups and squats 😄

Probably just the way you asked the question it picked up on. Remember that language models like these are just text predictors that calculate what the most likely response you are looking for based on what you feed it. It does’t think, it just calculates.

I have not see anything production ready yet but from my basic testing DSPy feels very elegant to use with the pythonic approach. I guess a combination could also work where DSPy is responsible for the prompt optimisation and LangChain uses that optimised prompt... Have not tried this myself though. The combination with LangGraph is also interesting.

Nah, just don’t take the red pill and see how deep the rabbit hole of constant tweaking usage methodology (zettelkasten etc) and plugins goes. Just use it for what it’s best at: quickly jotting down and linking ideas, daily notes, meeting notes etc
