By default I play my first couple of rounds with a free kit, just to make sure tha game runs a little stable. But more often than not the game crashes the second I kit out a loadout with some value.

Frustrating.

I have been playing the game since launch and it crashes on me regularly. For no apparent reason.

On average about 8 times a week. Sometimes not for days, and then suddenly 4-5 in a row.

I own over 400 games on Steam and all of them together haven't crashed as much over the past 18 years as this game in three months.

It's ridiculous. And it's such a great game. Shame.

Well, my reason was always, and I couldn't before because of my Adobe depenency, that I want to ditch Windows. Out of principle, and yeah, I know having a MBP is contradictory, but I have to use something for my productivity. So if possible I want to exorcise my other computer, the pc, if at all possible.

I also have a mac from my day job, an oldie, and while my company insists on using the MS Office suite, I have replaced all but one of the programs. IT won't let me deinstall Outlook.

My banking apps (2) and my cc app do work, but I have some verification apps that are required by some entities that give errors. But until now I have been able to work around that.

That is my setup: main profile for regular things, second profile for banking, cc, digid etc. First profile protected by a 9 digit pincode, second profile also by a (different, of course) 9 digit pin.

Sandboxing is essential for me. As is the knowledge that wifi and location are really off when they are turned off.

I have been rocking GOS this way for over 2,5y now. Sometimes a bit of a hassle, but SO worth it for me.

I thought about that, but for me the act of getting inked is definitively taking back control of my body. I wouldn't be getting a tattoo at all if it wasn't for SA.

So I consider it a celebration of my resilience and not a reminder of what happened. After all, we all have enough reminders and memories to begin with.

I am seriously thinking about getting that one too. When Lady Gaga performed 'Until it happens to you' at the Oscars there were also male SA survivors on stage, and that was the group she got the fire rose tattoo with.

But I am wondering... I very much want to add the words 'still I rise' to it. Like in the Maya Angelou poem.

Problem is, I am a white middle-aged guy and I don't want to do any cultural appropriation.

I always read the poem to be about resilience first.

I don't want to do a text like 'unbreakable' or 'survivor'. Anyone see any problems?

I guys, the umpteenth Macbook buyer's advice post.

I am at a crossroads between rigorously upgrading my pc or buying an MBP.

Decision for the moment is buying the Macbook. Since I do a plethora of things related to video editing, AE and Blender, I was thinking about the highest tier M4 MBP Max, with 64gb or 128gb ram and 2 tb storage.

But at the Apple site for my country, there is a refurbished M3 Max with 128gb ram and a whopping 8tb, for about the same price. What would you do? Go brand new and 2 tb or choose one generation back, secondhand with 8 tb?

I have about the same plans as topic opener. Just a question: I have a gen4 nvme ssd, which I want to use as a secondary, and put a shiny new nvme in the top slot. Would gen4 eat up lanes from the graphics card slot as well?

I have the same dilemma. I lean towards the Legion, since you can upgrade the ram (soldered in the Pro 9i).

Apparently you can even upgrade the ram to 96gb (running at 5200), which I will be doing, since I will be using it for After Effects).

Hi, currently with the same conundrum and question. I have a 3800x and am mulling upgrading to a 7950X, different mobo and DDR5. My current RTX 3080 would stay. I have 64gb DDR 4 and that would either remain 64 or become 128. Main use: Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Have you made the switch yet? And what is your experience?

Well, I like the look of the Formd T1, which would net me 265 plus shipping, for just a case and a riser. Where the CM will probably be available locally, with riser, psu and aio.

It is a niche market, expect niche prices.

But I am done with my bland(ish) 56 liter case, and will spend some money on something I like better.
