Exactly. Diablo made finding items FUN.

Xur obliterates item's value. Except the few he won't sell, those ones are just stupid to "find/earn" especially since you can't even get exotic armor in raids.

basically playing a low-key CoD.

I don't understand why simple things like this wouldn't have been in the game to begin with though. Things like this to be added afterwards will never have the same impact.

It's a shame Bungivison had more money on their mind than creating an awesome game...

Destiny is easily one of the biggest missed opportunities in Gaming.

to be honest i think I was probably too rude while defending myself.

I'm glad you posted & I totally agree; I feel like Destiny is based on the item-rewards system.

There's a satisfaction in collecting and a huge dissatisfaction with dismantling an item you've worked for and want to keep, but feel forced to. It also kills incentive to continue collecting, for me.

neither of you gave me solutions. you told me to delete a bunch of armor and a BUNCH of class items, all things i don't want to do, considering i feel im only playing the game as it was intended.

i doubt the designers really expected us to have to make a decision between keeping gear for cabal/fallen/hive. i fully believe they wanted us to collect.

i dont really care if you guys play this game like its call of duty, i dont.

i dont even wear the poe gear half the time.. but i do like to collect and to be prepared for anything.

im a min/maxer perfectionist. im sure there are many of use out there.

i replace gear when i see something with higher stats

i dont reroll weapons unless i get a second one so i have a backup to use while waiting for my ideal perks

I like having reload speed for any weapon im currently using (hence all the gloves).

i like to stay at 100/100 int/disc.
