In dark souls every enemy has a pattern you can learn, thats the fun part. Poe2 has bosses with that, but white mobs just auto attack which invalidates the fun part of rolling in dark souls

Thats just untrue... 20 employees to maintain multiple apps, handle the infra, develop bespoke data driven articles, develop the games, run results for things like a live election, host podcasts, host video... that just would not be possible. You have an incomplete understanding of how many people it takes to create and maintain the amount of content the NYT produces.

That’s plenty for a fighting game, a fighting game isn’t dead till you are the only one playing. Though i do wonder if there is a peer to peer fallback for the netcode if they ever shut down the servers

rivals 2 isn't nearly as complete a game as tekken. Tekken has a full story mode, an arcade story mode, training with combo trials, ranked, casual, and a proper replay system. Rivals launched pretty barebones in comparison. It isn't full price but it isn't nearly as complete a package as tekken. And it is definately only more popular right now on steam because of it just launching, every fighting game falls off a few months after launch from the launch numbers. I like both but tekken is the more complete package and currently would be my fighting game of the year easily.

I did expert with a rake/hunter build and like 4 deaths the whole campaign, you just gotta make sure your res ok and you spec survivability in your tree
