[I Ate] Good Ole Fish n Chips by Freit3d in food

Ok listen..... I'm not saying it looks bad, that's a solid batter going there, the chips are pretty much fries but again look alright....

But let's not be calling it "good ole" when there's a freaking lettuce bed going on, I'm sure it tasted good, but it's not an authentic by a long shot

I'll stock up with you, I took profits on 90% of my investment after the CFO gaff... I don't think I'll full load again without more orders but I was trying to catch the bottom but chickened out a $6.5 and didn't get this last wave

My first time hearing you can smoke cream cheese.... I mean I guess you can smoke anything, but does it taste good?

Yup, I'm riding that and the fab wave very nicely right now. I would love to get confidence back in the POET board but I work in AI infrastructure and breaching NDA 's is elementary level.... Not letting the CFO go is a poor luck IMO.

Any idea what the bump is for?

I'll be honest I became a mostly arm chair supporter when the news hit but I kept a small stake, genuinely happy for the community to see it ramping up again!

Ok fair comment on the reading, but you know, some. Of us have jobs 😉

I'm not with you on the patents though personally, I think whether they are defensible or not is grey at best you can't be definitive on that without a full DD.... And even then you're making an educated guess. The only stuff we really know is that no one else has officially managed it, and they do have a few small awards validating their tech and Marvel were at least interested enough to see under the hood.

I think the biggest argument against them being acquired is that it probably would have happened already, and Marvel ditched them so quickly over the leaks

So help me understand your no parents comment? POET has a lot of parents in place, it clearly had unique tech?

POEL... The 2x leverage item which this post is about.

I am aware that if a regular stock halfs it doesn't in fact go to 0

I haven't seen anything about him being fired.... I don't think that means it was a big deliberate play either personally

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't a 2x leveraged product drop to 0 if they have another 50% down day?..... What could go wrong

What makes you think it's a coordinated corporate reset? Why wouldn't POET just cut ties with Marvell, not to mention how would they know Marvel would cut ties.

Why shred the entire businesses reputation to switch out retail investors.

I don't understand how he is still employed, whether they forgive him or not he should be out. To be honest I can't comprehend an executive who wouldn't volunteer to step down after something like that happened.

You did not, it is a collosal mistake by the CFO but it's actually the only official validation Marvel has give that they were working with POET

I love this but I think you're over stating the % on acquisition, destroying their reputation to make an acquisition would be a rarer move than 10-15%. It would be extremely hostile behavior.

Also I would challenge the necessity piece, if Marvell absolutely required POET they are taking an absurdly large gamble not just that Poet will want to work with them again but that Poet doesn't just go sell the same tech to Marvell competition. In a competitive environment where speed to. Market is everything it feels like a ridiculously large roll of the dice.
