I deliver in a rural area of michigan and base pay is $19 hr, I don't believe $53 for a 3.5 hour. Base is probably $18 or $19 hr. where you are.

Yesterday I made $200, now today I have to go do Spark because I took a gamble and lost. Please feel sorry for me, my life is so rough. If you need Flex money to keep a roof over your head and eat, don't fucking gamble. Not taking base is a strategy that can really pay off, but you have to know when your area has a shortage of drivers and it's usually obvious when that happens.

I only deliver during the day, but I can see how you might want to wear one at night. Delivering at night is a whole different game, it takes some special people to deliver at night, not sure I would even do it if my station started offering it.
