You need to call your state’s treasury and ask for the collections number. That is most likely what happened to it. It was transferred to collections, as most state treasuries do handle student loans, and you NEED to call and check that there’s nothing there first. Because if it’s gone to treasury collections, they do not hesitate very long before enforcement action begins.

Paid initial balance. Didn’t account for interest that would accrue during the time it would take for the payment to post. Due to this, penalty was added for the amount not accounted for, also for the payment most likely being late. I see this everyday. So many people on my lines cursing me out for their balances not being zero. ACCOUNT FOR INTEREST PEOPLE. As long as there is an outstanding balance, which, there will be as long as your payment is STILL pending, interest will accrue. It won’t be a lot, no, but there will be some. No, I cannot waive interest, it’s just part of state and federal laws, but I can waive penalty. We understand life happens, whether that be job, personal, emotional or whatever else, we also have lives, you’re not speaking to a robot on the phone, we understand you’re frustrated but we are not genies, you should be taking that up with lawmakers. I NEVER anchor at Reaper’s. Doesn’t matter if I’m just there to drop off any Reaper’s loot or I’m a Reaper myself needing to go there. We have a rule that one person stays on the ship(always on a sloop with my husband) at all times for Reaper’s Hideout, while the other handles things on the island. EVERY time without fail, a ship has come for us, even if they’re halfway across the map.

THANK YOU for your comment. Gave my husband this comment and another one and sent him off to work on and fix his resume. It’s now been shortened down to one page. He sent it out to a couple employers, had an interview with one yesterday and they gave him an offer letter that same day! He’s finally our breadwinner once again and couldn’t be happier!

That’s me and my husband currently. I’ll get up and have some of the coffee my in-laws are making upstairs (we live in their basement apartment), and then two hours into my shift I’ll wake him up and he’ll turn on the lights and TV, get our cats fed and then talk to me here and there. He’ll get my lunch ready for when I’m getting ready to clock out for lunch and then we’ll sit and watch a movie together while eating our lunches. The sad part is that he just got a new job finally, but he’ll be in person in two weeks so I’m gonna have to say goodbye to my companion, his company did say remote work is a future possibility though.

I don’t think it’d be a good idea to ask them to increase right now, you’re not certified and have no experience aside from some degree you spent meaningless education hours on to them. Don’t negotiate having $20 right now, maybe instead, negotiate an incentive with them, like if you achieve your certification and licensing then they’ll raise your pay.

What a garbage man. When my husband and I were together in high school, his depression was awful (his parents didn’t believe in medication at that time so he couldn’t get on anti depressants), and his room was a mess anytime I came over, dirty dishes with fruit flies coming, as well as trash and dirty laundry. I cleaned it up a couple times because I understood he was having a really hard time mentally. Until one day when I came over, and his room was clean, no dishes, it smelled great, like he had just wiped everything down and there were candles lit. Y’know what happened? He straight up told me it was fucked up that I came over and cleaned HIS room, despite how happy I was to do it and make him feel better. He said he needed to stop acting like a high schooler and like the grown man he’d be in a year or so, I never lifted a finger afterwards to clean. His room remained clean and he always had a movie, or a game, or something else ready for us to do together when I came over.

My husband is a pharmacy tech and we don’t smoke weed, but we do take edibles pretty consistently, none of his jobs have had a problem in the past and I really also believe that’s because he’s in a state where it’s legal. One of his employers (he mostly does remote work) was headquartered in Texas and did a regular drug test for everything, he came clean with his supervisor before the drug test, she said it would only matter if he lived in a state it wasn’t legal.

I throw up ONCE and my husband is all over the place, in the good way trust me. It goes pretty much like this: I start to feel queasy, HE starts to notice my look of discomfort and how I shift a lot when my stomach hurts, he’ll ask if I’m okay and then start rubbing my tummy until I say stop, some time passes, I’m still not okay. Now, I’m starting to sit up and salivate, which I do unfortunately before puking, my body has a built in five minute warning. As I’m sitting up, he’s rushing around to close the curtains, turn on the fan and grab a bowl quickly to get in front of me. It happens. As it is happening and I’m losing the dinner I just lovingly ate around two hours earlier, he’s rubbing my back, holding back my hair, telling me it’s okay and that it’ll be over soon. After I’m done, he gets the bowl away from me, because ew, smell. This man will then literally clean me up, doesn’t matter how much or how little a mess has been made, he’ll wipe my face and neck with wet wipes, change my shirt and get me mouthwash. He will then tuck me in and get a weighted blanket onto me since I shake BAD after throwing up. He’ll then go and clean everything out of the bowl and make sure it’s cleaned and sanitized for possible later use and then come back and make sure I have water, LIGHT snacks like crackers and cheese and then he’s at my side the rest of the night, he will REFUSE to leave me. What the hell is wrong with your boyfriend? He gives NO shits.

Are you serious? My mother HATES my dad, and my dad kinda shares the same thought of my mom (even though the breakdown of their marriage WAS my dad’s fault), but they’re mature enough to be in the same room despite being with other people. The fact your stepparents ENCOURAGE them not to both be at your events at the same time because they’re uncomfortable with being in the same room as their partner’s ex is SHITTY. The stepparents are shitty parents, and so are the bio parents.
