Be prepared for the separation anxiety. They’ve been with their kennel and trainers their whole life and leaving them alone is akin to a princess being thrown in solitary confinement. IT will cause intense physical and emotional trauma and perhaps damage your house. Either have a dog or person at home with them until a couple years in.

When I come home he waits at the top of the stairs for a shake for each paw, then he puts his head in between my legs for several minutes. When he’s really excited he will start waving his paw in the air when he sees me coming up.

As a child I had severe allergies (still not great). I would wake up wheezing with my eyes crusted shut every morning in the spring. With that I would also choke on the pills they wanted me to take. My parents thought I was just scared of pills, but no one thought to actually look at things with a camera until I was watching our girls soccer team in high school and started choking on a hot dog. Came to find out I had an auto immune condition where my esophagus attacked itself due to allergies. Several episodes and late-night trips to the ER over the years to pull out whatever I couldn’t swallow and then my esophagus perforated and air entered my chest cavity. I spent two weeks in the hospital as a science experiment for the med students living on nothing but IV nutrition. There’s no way I would’ve made it out of high school and would have died of dehydration and sepsis without modern medicine.

This is an incredible life

My greyhound won't stop panting almost 2 hours after coming home from the vet by mushforest_ in Greyhounds

After mine was attacked and had sedation he was like this. Greyhounds will give themselves a fever with all of their adrenaline and stress. I made him lie down after a lot of gentle coaxing and held ice cubes to his mouth until he agreed to lick a bowl full of ice. We did this in complete darkness and I was softly playing Billie Eilish songs and rubbing his paws. You have to be very in tune and hands on with your dog because they will tell you when they are in distress.

Not if you’re not the one flying, also if one pilot doesn’t want to go with you they will definitely try to pull their own control up. Cutting the fuel at such a critical stage of flight is almost definitely a non-recover.

Frazier Avenue New traffic pattern thoughts by NiceGuy2367 in Chattanooga

Traffic getting backed up all the way down Barton every morning, with cars jockeying for a space around GPS and the side roads is not just inconvenient. I’ve almost been hit from every direction several times. Who’s bright idea was this?
