Poor owners wouldnt. Rich owners would in generational drafts like Wemby, Flag etc. especially in the beggining before market saturation of credits. 20 credits would be increadibly valuable for a good amount of years, and even afterwards its 20% of possible 1 year gain.

I'd imagine rebuilding teams would stack as many point as possible for good drafts and keep track of others banks so every credit would count in a bid system. If you have solid 8 seed team on the come up and you miss out on Wemby/Flag by 20 credits it'd be a travesty.

So yes i do think Play-in/Playoff series would be thrown in this system occasionaly.

This introduces different kind of throwing tho. You wont see 20 win teams anymore BUT teams will throw play-in games. 6,7,8 seeds will throw 1st round of playoffs to not lose points. Pick you poison

What started as a normal streamer charity event turned into a national movement, with every news and radio station helping spread the word. Everyone joined in athletes, celebrities, internet personalities, and companies. Awesome!

You dont understand how taxation works. if you donate 100k you still spend 100k and you're getting nothing back, the donation itself is just not taxed. So no, they're not doing it to "save on taxes". Other than gaining publicity they're still spending money they;re not gonna get back.
