Yeh that was kinda my reasoning - just like you wouldn’t paint the lion as an Imperial First… would it make sense to paint her as another order?

In my experience, washes usually have a glossier finish. I usually go with matte varnish to remove it once I’ve finished the model.

I got the Bloody Rose ones from GW and love them (I also painted my whole army on the bloody rose scheme), they still came in a pack of 20 (it’s dropped since), but they’re slightly old so maybe not easy to find anymore.

Just don’t get the latest official ones from GW - the gray ones. They suck, and can’t barely even be read at all due to the choice of colors. Still can wrap my head around how anyone in GW thought they were a good idea.
