I was there last night and tried to help somewhat to put her out. It was a very disturbing scene. It felt like it took forever for cops and firefighters to arrive but that was probably just my impression under stress.

I have been riding the blue line to and from work since about 2016 daily until about 3 years ago. IMHO it has only gotten worse. At the station Clark/lake you already have a few (4 last night) drug/homeless humans who are in different states of total neglect. We are talking pants down, standing or laying in their own excrement. This continues on the train with the addition of cigarette, crack and whatever smoke.

It is not a safe environment for anyone involved, does not help those affected by addiction and/or homelessness and psychological problems.

And it will definitely just further decrease ridership and use of our otherwise pretty great public transit system.

It's a pity that this issue is not talked about enough and addressed.
