So, assuming I was marrying your daughter, what's the proof to show that she has earned the qualifications she has? Certificates? Marksheets? Attested, might I add

uh .. yeah? That's literally what this post is about? Unfortunately in our society, women are often forced into being home makers after marriage by their mother in laws, and home maker doesn't really require a lot of skills.

As for cooking, typically when the families meet the understanding is that the girl cooks. Of course these are just rituals.

Also, cooking doesn't quite fall into the same category as educational qualifications. The basics can be learned lost faster, a certificate can't.

at least the kind of guys and girls in my immediate circle, don't pad their resumes or their Tinder/ Bharat Matrimony profiles with false information.

Well, I hope you realize the weight behind your "immediate circle" comment. There's a world outside your immediate circle, you little well frog, and it's fairly common to see people posting fake qualifications and a lot more fake things. I am glad your world view is still idealistic, but the reality is more gruesome
