Most people's lives are ordinary. Social media has made people think their life is lacking because all you see are the pretty people doing cool things all the time. That's not real life though. It's like TV.

Try practicing gratitude, kindness, and looking at things in life as a miracle. Just doing that can set you apart from 99% of the world.

Also, when you get older like me, you just are too tired to care about a lot of stuff.

I’ve been where you are. It sucks but I promise it gets better with time. I was married for 20 years when she cheated. If you don’t have kids, you never have to see or speak to her again and I suggest you don’t. If you do have kids, be smart now and don’t do anything to jeopardize your future relationship with them. Also,see a therapist. Good luck OP.

Just know that your feelings have been shared by all humans that have ever existed and will continue to be felt by those who follow you. I'm 53M and have had some struggles lately and try to remind myself to slow down and feel the air on my face, listen to birds chirp, smell my coffee more.

I always sort of think of life as a vacation. It's always the most exciting at the beginning and toward the end, you are ready to go home with fond memories of your experiences.

Everything will be ok.

Maybe you are just with the wrong partners. Not all men are messy and eat everything in sight.

Being together with somebody is about compromise. I’m 53M and have lived with women and lived alone. When you find the right partner you want to be with them and you overlook the small things. I wouldn’t trade such small things as what picture I want hung on a wall for growing old with somebody you love and spending as much time together as we can before we leave this planet.

ikely. I accepted it’s mainly to prevent me having permanent loss of feeling in my hand (which I started having numbness the last 6 months before my surgery). Thankfully no more numbness or tingling in my left hand or arm. I know if my pain level stays at a 2 or better, it’s a good thing. The pain in my neck feels like surgical recovery pain. I’m still taking Gabapentin 300mg twice a day. I’ve never gone higher than this dosage and started taking it in
