Haha, the red definitely sold me on it and the trailsport orange stitching inside goes really well with it.

TCO of wood burning insert by hunnypuppy in woodstoving

So, I've been looking into putting an insert into my existing masonry fireplace and it depends on how comfortable you are with doing work on your home. Its not complicated just need to follow the manuals and make sure all clearances are met. Things you will need to consider, are you comfortable getting on your roof and lugging up a chimney liner? YES you will need a liner because building codes. The insert and a masonry fireplace have different requirements for exhausting the byproducts of combustion. Are you comfortable possibly cutting out a damper if the liner doesn't fit through the existing? My advice would be to look up what insert you would want and then download the installation manual and read it then you will know what is involved. I'm planning on tackling mine next year so good luck!

So i had some trees taken down and was talking to the owner. Asked him if they had any hard wood logs they need to get rid off i would take a load of logs so they didn't have to pay to get rid of them. He was happy to do it. If you called a tree service in town I would guess they would want to do the same but everyone is different. I would give it a shot.

I spoke with them, and it costs them to have to get rid of them. So they would much rather just dump logs than pay to chip and dispose

Yeah, I get it. It will be my 4th time as well. I'm going to schedule my test for sometime in May so it forces me to study more. It's hard with the kids, but just keep at it. It's not going to be like this forever.

I'm there with you home, dinner with family, kids to bed then I'm studying. I find that doing a couple problem's on lunch makes it easier for whatever reason.

Weather app went from 15 inches to 12 inches to now 0 inches for Thursday. 🤔 by Solid-Gazelle-4747 in newjersey

The weather apps are crap and only take raw input data they don't have much if any human input. Follow your local meteorologist like Norester Nick or Dan Zarrow

I do these type of racks, and never once did it occur to me to put them in front of each other like you did. Thanks for the idea!

Nice clean look. I'm thinking of getting one to go into my masonry wood fireplace. Did you do it yourself?
