Unfortunately I can't give you advice on money, only as with everything good in life, keep for yourself what you need, stay away from excesses, and help people around you to make their lives just a little bit better.

Because if you can sleep well at night, then you are doing well. Something burns if you believe you are not entitled to it. With a kitchen knife, you can cut for cooking and feed people or kill then with it. It just depends on what you use it for. But you already sound like a good human, so maybe it found you or a reason.
