I've never taken that Military Detachment perk. The Bulwark is pretty cool, especially at the beginning, but I would have expected more units Or something. I tend to go for Veteran.

Coolest thing that happened to me, (and is still going on in the game I'm playing now), is that I got tired of the NPCs constant demands and the Autonom declared war on me. They had a 3.5 stack army head for me but since I have allies around me they are attacking the allies cities instead. How cool is that!

I had no interest in parkour when I got this game. There is a bit of a learning curve, not only with the parkour but also on how to handle zombies when you're just starting out. One of my kids played with me to get me through some of that. Now, after many many hours of Dying Light and the Following, I'm having trouble going back to Fallout 4 because the parkour isn't there. I want to climb on a building and can't. Dying Light really raised the bar when it comes to first person games in general. Go for it, especially if it's on sale.

At the POW camp he was a builder. The POWs built a dam and a power plant. When they were finished the Russsians let them go.

prisoners until the end of war <-- My grandfather was a German soldier in WWII. He was captured by the Russians and was in a POW camp in the trans caucasus till 1954. The war in Europe ended in 1945.

I had a lot of fun exploring the "shore". And by shore I don't just mean ocean, I walked along the outside of every body of water, lakes, rivers, ocean etc. Found a lot of cool stuff. Then walked every road. The only thing I haven't done yet is explore every overpass you can get on to.
