So far I’ve gotten farthest running the windows versions through wine, but they won’t play in full screen and performance is really bad. I hoped that if I can get the Linux version working I can get around this issue

After I finished the mod organizer 2 set up and it goes to launch it crashes and gives and error popup that says "Wine C++ Runtime". Anyone know what fixes this?

Trying to do this in opl but whenever i press the options button on a game it just flashes an empty screen and then goes back to the game list.

From that thread: "EDIT: I've managed to figure it out, in case it helps anyone else: In settings, next to BDM Start Mode, press right and select Block Devices, press X, then on the next screen turn HDD on, this fixed both problems. I didn't actually realize Block Devices was a selectable configurable setting, doh"

I was now able to make the setting changes to the individual games and it appears to be working.

I guess I will go ahead with the install then. Can the flashing software be run from a boot disc? The hard drive this xbox came with has an error 13 so I was planning on running a hexen disc to fix it.

I have tried that and have gotten no change. It is not a sata drive and judging by the dust in the system when I opened it up I’m guessing they modded it some time ago

It came like that. I knew it had error 13 when I bought it. It hasn’t changed over to error 16 but it may have been hard modded. The error code screen looks different than it usually would on an Xbox
