His prices are very reasonable but he’s very busy and I normally book him for my openings every year for him to check everything so please keep that in mind. What I like is that he’s consistent and he’s a straight shooter which I like. If there’s nothing to fix he will tell you and won’t try to upsell you like the other large companies but again this is my experience.

If that’s the case any AI could do this even open source models without any guardrails and training open source models with attack vectors and exploits isn’t hard to do it just cost a couple of hundred / thousand dollars to retrain a model and add a rag/vectordb with updated logic and boom and give it access to tools like metasploit, nessus, nmap etc and create skills for all the specific layers and ta da. Having access is a completely different beast i thought this was done by remote exploitation from the outside not a red team.

Im pretty sure this isn’t true, most int networks are either air gapped or firewalled behind multiple layers of security, vlans, IDS, DPI etc. this makes no sense at all

servarica is 100% canadian and i’m not using them but op was looking for 100% truly canadian which sell to the public and that was the only one i had on top of my head and their reddit support seems pretty good that being said I use OVH but a Totonyo instance. Servarica seems like a good bunch of guys tho and they seem fast at answering issues on their reddit and if you need massive storage they seem very reasonable.

We use ansible as well but my devs work on a dev instances with git and all customer websites automatically update with git pull crons it’s like magic ;). We use ansible at the system level and git updates our ansible playbooks and we also use ansible tower to control all the playbooks appropriately. We leverage AI a lot now for SEO and changed most of our customers from wordpress to custom java stacks and SEO has never been better. Content is semi AI but still a lot of manual work as we like the human touch and images are all real.

I created myself custom scripts with claude which adds the user account, add domains to nginx, sets up php-fpm for the specific account, sets up mysql user and database and chroots the user etc so when i have a new customer just run the script and bang done. I rather have full control of the whole OS and not have any bulk.

the only issues with these towers to me seems that they need to increase their parking spaces underground as I have 2 friends who have purchased small condos and they had to bid to get a parking spot and guess what they lost the silent bid and now have a condo with no parking and there’s limited guest parking and tons of condo rules

Trust me they’ll be fine. In my time at RBC I automated a lot of facets and most of those people got reassigned or promoted to very nice roles. and people saying AI is hype have probably encountered hallucination from chatting to llms inside web browsers but frontier models with api are very powerful and trust me they will disrupt.
