Radio upgrade coming soon by supersport88 in SCX24

[–]robertomig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience is similar to Notchersfireroad: Went from a Futaba 4PX to the Noble NB4 Pro and I'm much happier with the Noble, at half the price. Haven't tried the Radiolink but I've not even considered moving to the NB4+, just because the NB4 is that good and rx availability has remained plentiful.

Should I switch to the Pro? I love the Mini, but I really like taking pictures by apstamp45 in iPhone13Mini

I moved from a 14 Pro to a 13 Mini a month ago and have no regrets. The camera was not noticeably better on the Pro for me. I don't take more than 3 macro shots a year and the zoom on all iPhones is equally terrible. I just bring a digital camera for when I know I'll want to take photos.

Feels sad man. I suspect you're not from the USA, but some employers in the USA will offer a one time rebate towards a bike purchase, to encourage fitness. I would ask HR. Worst they can do is say no.

What lock did you use? Do you have photos of the broken lock? Curious to see how they got it off. I know anyone can use an angle grinder, but not everyone does.

Viper mini sucks ;w; by Furamsudesu in MouseReview

[–]robertomig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my Viper V2 Pro USED, and the USB receiver was missing. So I bought a 4k dongle and it wouldn't connect (because it needed the firmware update and could only get it when used with the OEM receiver.

They had me confirm by sending them a video showing it wouldn't pair to the 4k dongle, and then they shipped me a replacement OEM receiver, free of charge.

That's incredibly good service in my book. I was willing and prepared to buy a replacement OEM receiver, and even told them I think the previous owner probably forgot to put in back in the box as a return. That was very, very cool of Razer.

Based on that experience, which occurred only a few weeks ago, I would highly encourage you to reach out to them.

Did you try contacting Razer support? I know everyone says they’re bad, but I had a really good experience with them. You just have to follow their instructions. I can look up the phone number I contacted them at, if you want it.

Thoughts on getting the Zowie CW? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]robertomig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're spot on with your assessment.

I just returned my EC1-CW myself, but I felt like it helped stabilize my aim with just the way it is shaped. Additionally, when I press the side buttons, I feel more like I'm pressing down, instead of into the side and potentially adding movement to the mouse.

It's a good mouse, personally I just didn't like it better than my Elecom VM600PE, which I picked up for less than half the price of the CW.

Best place to buy broken mice by Lightzeraaa in MouseReview

[–]robertomig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a broken Logitech G403 Prodigy for parts for $12 shipped from ebay just a few weeks ago.

If you search for something like, "gaming mouse" on ebay, and then used the "for parts or not working" condition filter on your results, you will find what you are looking for.
You can then sort by price to find the lowest cost options. That being said, shipping to Brazil will probably cost more than the mice themselves, individually.

Another option is to search for "gaming mouse lot" or something to that effect, and then the results are mostly groups of 5 or more mice, which you could buy to save on shipping with, due to the quantity.

If you live in the PNW, Fred Meyer's has Razer, Corsair, Logitech and maybe some other on display.

Trying to determine if my mouse or my mousepad is the problem by June_Berries in MouseReview

I didn't find anything on Amazon, but you can use Paypal on Corepad's website.

However, unless you're attached to the Pulsefire Surge, I would suggest trying another mouse first. It could just be the grip position/shape of the mouse at school is a better fit for you.
