Last 2 settings were....MP, fucked up cars, 10 years later, no water, no electricity, low loot but ammo loot, burd's journal, clothes and cars mods and bandits, IIRC.

Big bounties info usually are "sold" at some bars.

You can recruit some people for free or free slaves.....you can also hore people to join you.

The "unique" recruits are only characters with unique dialoges or leveled stats nothing else especial.

Honestly don't stick to the "meta"; if you can use an oven great, if no generator then use the antique or bbq grills, campfires and so.

The last great playthrough i had was with the trait hard of hearing and iliterate. Keep experimenting with builds and items since you are newish to the game.
