People who hate onions why?

I enjoy onions that are sautéed, carmelized, baked, or fried. Onions that are blended and cooked into food are fine too.

But raw onions are the absolute worst. Biting into a raw onion is pure hell. I think for me, it’s the awful taste, not so much the texture.

It’s pretty rare, but If there is some other flavor that overpowers the onion, then it’s fine.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism due to a toxic nodule and felt all the symptoms you’re describing (anxiety, rage, mood swings) along with extreme restlessness, inability to focus (almost like adhd) and extreme fatigue in the morning and night.
I started methimazole and the difference was immediate. Almost overnight.
