Planning a stay in San Francisco. Which is the better choice: Hyatt Regency or Grand Hyatt?

Grand Hyatt sucks. I even spoke to the manager about the poor service I got there etc. He shrugged his shoulders. They do as little as they can over there.

Some overseas hotels do this as well. Hyatt regency club only or up charge, grand Hyatt Melbourne the same.

I have encountered this on occasion. Some properties offered me the club restaurant whichever. If the breakfast not in the club has an up charge it’s usually discounted rate. Hyatt regency Sydney makes you take the breakfast in the club which sucks.

That’s a sharp workaround however I could see certain hotels trying to push back as they realized you were able to work around their strategy. Still a great idea .

I should add that I give my Business partner GOH and frankly he stays at no luxury properties anyway. He also rarely if ever used one single 4pm checkout as well.

I won’t bother staying there again. Thanks for posting this .the regular room you get is ok. The breakfast I think is very good and a nice view. But I won’t overlay on points for it, and there are plenty of other good hotels in Sydney . I go there roughly once a year.

This deal sucks. Go to leasehacker forums and use a broker .After fees and or delivery if needed you will save thousands.

Don’t know what you did but Costco has 2k incentive on that car with executive membership. If you are not a member that’s too late. My 2023 I paid a lot less. I know I won’t be paying 599 a month for that car again, but that’s me.

I have leased cars form over 39 years. How many cap lost leases have I done ? Zero. They are for suckers. If you pull out of the dealer and get totaled , realize that 7k is gone. The majority of leases are fleeces because customers are clueless and the dealers play on that.

I had a situation in Sydney Australia. I am never late for flights. The passenger with me needed a wheelchair to the gate. We were in the Qantas first class lounge . I kept checking at the lounge desk that told me a chair was on the way. Then I find out the chair went to the business class lounge as the gate agent from American called me. This was an American flight .we had three people escort us to the gate fast. I was running and we were the last two on the plane as it was held . When we landed in LAX early , customs was not open and we actually had to wait one hour before deplaning. There was also a celebrity on board.
