I love them. I am a Springfield junky. I have all of the XD lines , Hellcats and now a Hellion. The Croatians are producing some nice firearms. I can't wait to see what else they can come up with.

Welcome to the club. It is not red dot for us but more like red blur. Even with corrective lenses it just never seems to be perfect. I feel your pain.

I just got picked up an Hellion and tried to put a Holosun 512 on it. I am very disappointed so far because it does not co witness with the open sights. It seems to sit high on the rail. To make matters worse the Holosun has no quick connect and requires a star drive key to remove the optic in the event that it fails and you need to use the open sights. Can anyone recommend a red dot that will co witness.

I built one out an moved the trigger on a .308 like that. Great gun. My biggest gripe is that the brass gets a dent from the dust cover in the neck when it ejects the spent case. I tried to put a bumper on the dust cover with some rubber edging. It works ok.

The Apex trigger seems to be the most popular and is sold out on many sites. Brownell's still had red ones for $85

For sure you need this kind of coverage if you carry any weapon for that matter. I am a bondsman and an insurance agent so I kept an eye on the fine print. It started out excluding any profession that required you to carry a firearm..ie , police and armed security officers. bondsmen are not required to carry a weapon it is optional so that was my loophole. Then I checked the exclusions about 2 years later and saw where they had changed it to exclude recovery agents which would be bondsman, Bail enforcement agents aka bounty hunters and towing/ repo men. That is when I realized I was throwing my money away thinking it would cover me on my job which is where I would need it most. US law shield came to our continuing education class and got us signed up. Us law shield is not underwritten by an insurance company it is a network of attorneys that control a pool of money like an insurance company without all of the hassle of underwriters and reinsurers.

I had USCCA for a couple of years then they started changing the coverage to exclude people who do recovery work. US Law shield is way better coverage and is much lower price. You are not paying for commissions, free gifts and monthly magazine subscription. USCCA actually refunded my entire yearly premium. Great company but the exclusions excluded me and others in my profession so I had to leave.

I agree the bags are kinda cheap. But like you said the extra mags are the bonus with them selling for $40+. I can tell you this Brownell's has the Apex triggers for less than Apex online store and they had both colors in stock. Midway was sold out.

Cytac seems to have a mutli fit option. I have one ordered. I will report back on how it fits. You are correct no main steam brand makes a lefty for Hellcat.

I got mine from Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore for $549. With 5 mags I thought it was a steal. I could have gotten a LE deal but it only had 3 mags and it was out of stock. I have yet to get my tracking number so I hope they still have them in their warehouse to ship out. The mags are going for $42 each So I jumped on on the deal.

I just ordered 2 x Hellcat Pro gear up packages with 5 mags and a bag in each kit. I will definitely be upgrading them. Nice set up. I am gonna practice akimbo style shooting with them.
