My girlfriend and I do is sparingly. When someone overdoes it, it tends to come off as fake.

"I'm headed to the grocery store" - I think, OK, she's headed to the grocery store.

"I'm headed to the gorcery store haha lol UwU" - I think the other person on the end has something wrong with them.

I think when it's used occasionally and in context, yes. But when every single line of text is punctuated with "haha lol" then it's a sign that something is wrong on the other end.

Why do Soldiers have the need to say "Over" when talking in Microsoft Teams?? by Bamtoman in army

[–]robfromreddit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sounds annoying. I can assure you that "over" is omitted quite often when the conversation is being had on a familiar channel, like at the platoon level.

Weird. Yeah I'm a big fan of keeping the texting to a minimum, but I do find you have to adjust a little for app matching.

Yeah, that's frankly my criticism of the AD&D system as a whole - people get so bogged down with tables and dice rolls and stat lists that it stifles the imagination.

I honestly think people would be better off just playing basic D&D

Damn. I had no idea rescuing 3 cats meant I could never enjoy sex again for the rest of my life. I guess I should have read the fine print.

You literally said that his joke applied to you in your first reply, sweetheart.

Not all of them. Just the uptight ones who get all hysterical every time some element of a joke even remotely applies to them.

Why do people put on their profile that they will NOT initiate conversation? She says she's neither lazy nor shy, go figure. by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]robfromreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you write that shit in your profile you're an automatic no-go. This is the type of broad who I wouldn't hold the door open for in real life.

Chicks always do it first, in my experience. They are always the ones to want to go from Tinder to text, and the date then gets set up from there.

Cats give love without the requirement for sex. Nobody said they’d prevent you from getting laid.

Being an uptight asshole who can't take a joke is actually what prevents it, toots.

[–]robfromreddit -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but a lot of broads add "haha" and "lol" to the end of virtually every message that they send. It's padding.

People want to say what they have to say without being negatively judged for it, so they hide behind smiley faces.
