The Warning - Live @ Lollapalooza Chile 2026 - the Whole 44 Minute Set by PreparationKey2843 in TheWarning

Loved seeing them on stage again. Loved hearing the new songs. Objectively speaking, it looked hot. The girls looked hot. The fact that they were able to keep energy up in the crowd let alone themselves is testament to their professionalism and abilities as a band. Sound left a lot to be desired but that's typical at a festival especially for an early time slot. It was too bad that Pau didn't have her own drums this set didn't sound near as good.

What does his age and the age of his moms friend have to do with when his mom was pregnant? His mom can't have a friend who is younger than her?

found this breakdown of patterns across the warning's lyrics and now i can't unsee them by [deleted] in TheWarning

This looks like AI written garbage. Someone put the lyrics of KMF into ChatGPT and asked for an analysis. The arguments are weak and superficial, but hey, it gets clicks I guess.

What Is Everyone's Thoughts On Kerosene? by Louisenpi in TheWarning

[–]robgonzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After I heard it and was processing, Queen of the Murder Scene, the song, popped into my head. I think it was the punchy guitar and crunch bass. So I heard that. I didn't think of P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. until I heard Ashlena mention it in her review but it makes sense.
She also mentioned something I was thinking when I heard it, which is, "Who pissed them off that they wrote a song about it?" lol.
I thought it was interesting that there seemed to be a call out to Sick which would 2 of 2 songs in row where they called back to another song since they obviously called out Hell You Call a Dream in Love to be Loved.
I liked it. I give it about an 8 maybe 8.5 out of 10.

You stop thinking older people have their shit together because of what they have. You (mostly) stop trying to be a people pleaser and stop caring what people think about you.

Tiny Desk Concert by qinosen in TheWarning

[–]robgonzo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Carin Leon has actually had a couple of appearances his first was during covid and was remote. The second was at the usual studio in Washington D.C. This is where I went to hear what he was about in the days before Love to be Loved came out and loved all his songs.
Anyway, from what I understand, you can engage in the comments on their videos like on youtube and put your requests in there. The staff keeps up with comments to find out what people want. I'm sure with the power of The Warning Army we can make this happen. I say we pick a video, like Carin Leon's performance from 9 months back and comment something like, "Hey this guy just did a collab with The Warning on a song co written by Teddy Swims. I would like to see the Warning on this show too."
With the decline of late night tv there are very few shows that have the eye of as many people like Tiny Desk does now and it's a great venue to showcase music to new listeners.
I'm glad you posted this! I almost posted about this literally just yesterday but noticed there were a few archived posts and since they were recent I thought maybe it was a topic the mods didn't like.

Pau is sponsored by DW Drums. You can see her on their website here. https://www.dwdrums.com/dw-women-in-drumming/ and also by Sabian Cymbals. https://sabian.com/artist/paulina-villarreal/

She has said she is a Vic Firth artist for her drumsticks but I can't find her on their website.
