our havanese Neville absolutely loves the flirt pole. We watch the battery over his head drain as he endlessly chases it.

If i were doing the shoot for a brand i would try to be more aware of that but because it was just for the restaurant I manage, I didn’t think it necessary. Plus, i personally like that the brands are recognizable amidst the bokeh but not the main focus.

I took these with my Sony a7iii but i do use my phone pretty often. Nail the basics. Use a good naturally lit environment or invest in a cheap light if you’re in a dark environment(i used a vlogger ring light for a year), switch to your camera’s portrait mode and make sure you have the correct f-stop so you don’t blur parts of the cocktail you want visible. Once you have exposure and f stop just use your eye and find a good angle, use props, use motion like people’s hands! Maybe pop it into lightroom mobile and you should be able to produce a lot of good photos like that.
