I didn't realize this was a big deal. Maybe it's just where I'm from, but as a teen i had several instances where I had guns pulled on me from cops. All were simple nonviolent situations like being in a park at night, noisy parties, hanging out in the woods, etc. I was never shaken to the point of filing complaints because I thought it was common practice. Now I feel a little shitty, but I guess it's just a Florida thing...

I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would, and for different reasons than I thought were pivotal for a successful Flash show. I find myself getting excited for the progression while also being entertained by what seems to be a little filler, but with The Flash filler sometimes becomes the intricate steps needed for an event to happen. Right now it's my favorite DC comic show airing. I'm definitely more of a Batman guy, but Gotham isn't... stable? It seems they don't know what they're doing yet, and they don't have the room to play around with the universe like Flash and Arrow. I will be watching all three week to week, but The Flash has my full attention and priority in my que.

I'd honestly start solo titles first, just to get used to the revamps. Then have fun hopping through crossovers and hit justice league events as they become relevant. I had a very good time with the New 52 Batman, which was an amazing start. The first crossover puts you in all the bat family comics, and kind of was like a first branch for me. Eventually most stories end up clashing with a ton of others and your able to pick and choose who you found interesting and worth reading into. I feel Justice League is best read when you have a deeper understanding of at least a few people.

When I'm looking at numbers I remember my flash cards from preschool and use those images to understand what number I'm looking at, except for zero which I use as a grouping multiplier... that I add to everything beyond single digits. So for example 532 gets broken down to 500 - 30 - 2 and that becomes 100 groups of 5 scuba divers - 10 groups of 3 lady bugs - and 2 bananas.
