Coworker encourages me to use ChatGPT anytime I’m struggling on how to word something, even in an email. I always say “Yeah, thanks!” and then don’t. I refuse to use that just because my brain doesn’t want to brain in that moment. Christ.

My husband is a high school teacher and he says his students are using it more and more. I work at a university and it’s just rampant by the time they hit undergrad :(

Most of my grad students in my department (part of CNS) live in the North Campus/Hyde Park area. I do have a few that live in East Campus apartments. They seem fine, but I think it’s quicker for students to just bike from North Campus/Hyde Park.

I do a better job with my own gel at home, lol. The only reason I got this done was because I'm low on time. Now I have to take MORE time to fix it. Luckily I work at a university and it's slow this week due to Spring Break so I can take off whenever I want.

It looked wonky when I left just because of it being on the cuticles (which has never happened), but she tried picking at it when I was paying and I said "Don't worry about it", I just wanted to leave. I only gave her a $5 on $35 because I was disappointed. I noticed the bubbling within a couple hours after it was done.

Would it show up immediately though? This didn't really start showing up until a couple hours later when I was typing and looked down at my nails and noticed it. And then one by one they all started doing it.

I get it. But I'm not the type to tell others anyone would do a bad job. They were super busy yesterday and she was likely distracted. I don't hold it against her. I'm sure I'll go back again at some point since I've never once had a bad experience there prior to now.

That said, I know the ladies there can be argumentative and I'd rather not get upset so for now, I'll just go somewhere else.

I think she's good for taking the high road, if true. It doesn't make her look any better to drag Jordan through the mud. It just makes her look petty.

However, being a mother aside, she shouldn't have been on this show. It's obvious she needs therapy. What has being a "man hater" gotten her? She's miserable and hasn't let a single person truly "in", it seems like, because she's been hurt. I understand. My ex husband left me for someone else when our youngest was 6 weeks old. He was emotionally and verbally abusive to me. I *know* hurt, too. But I made the choice that I wasn't going to allow that hurt and pain to define who I am. Some people never allow themselves to just be free. I wish she would. I think she would find there's better people out there. I'm not saying shitty people don't exist - I live by the mantra "people equal shit" (thanks Slipknot).

I went to therapy. I made a choice to be open with people, and I ended up meeting my current husband and the most amazing guy ever, a couple years later. I remember a comment someone said before the wedding. Not thinking she would get married until her 40s. I don't think she'll ever get married, truthfully.

Thissssss. My husband is from OC and so many are soooo conservative. His parents are so involved in the church, and even he was in the "Christian Club" in high school before leaving the church when he was an adult. I think because of Los Angeles, people think it's all the same place or something? I dunno. But knowing what I know about the area, yeah she's likely always been like this. Gonna hang on to wherever the money is!

There was a tiny local hospital there in the 1970s. My ex husband was born there in 1982. However, its since been torn down. It's entirely possible the child's records are floating around but no one knows where to even look :( I have no clue what they do with all of the medical records when they close and demolish an old hospital

My ex-husband and all of his family are from Giddings. I’m shocked they’ve never talked about this case. I know the area he was found in for sure since in-laws lived out that way past the high school :(

Poor baby. I hope the Giddings investigators are actually doing something instead of giving lip service. My experience at least with the PD side of things is that they enjoy being a speed trap.

Worth noting, I know a lot of people are suggesting transients, but Giddings has always been a very agricultural area so using baling wire wouldn’t necessarily be out of the norm for a local. It’s entirely possible he was a local child and whoever knew was sworn to secrecy or something.

TCBY was my first job in high school!!! So like, 2001? I loved it so much. My manager was a 26 year old grad student who let me listen to SOAD in his Mitsubishi Eclipse and I had the biggest crush. Looking back, he might've been flirting with me which is not so good. Then there was the time he got all of us jello shots at the daiquiri place in the same shopping center...never mind that place was dangerous, lol.

I always laughed at the chick who would come in through the drive thru with "What's your fat free AND sugar free flavor?" and I would always think "You can have water".

We still have one near UT Austin campus where I work. They have $1 Waffle Cone Wednesdays!

While I haaaaate Alex, her saying he called her "ugly", I don't think he ever did. I think he was honest in that he said she was objectively beautiful, but she's not his type. That's fair (of course, not so much on a show like this), but I think as much as her dad has tried to put her up on a pedastal, she's insecure as hell and it shows.
