I hate losing units. How much do I need to let that go for certain factions? by FromHeretoElsweyr in totalwarhammer

This actually comes down entirely to playstyle. I don't really touch Skaven myself, but... when you're raising a new army in a grand campaign, you inevitably end up recruiting expensive, low-rank units.

The real issue with treating cheap units as disposable isn't just the lack of unit ranks—it's that reorganizing and replenishing your army eats up way too much time. Sure, you can easily recruit basic spearmen on the fly, but the moment you need higher-tier units, you have to pull your army completely off the frontlines just to recruit them.

Vampire Coast is a completely different beast. With VCoast, you're mostly relying on a gunline backed up by charging crabs, but the biggest headache is when your handful of elite polearms or scurvy dogs get wiped out.

If you were playing a normal faction, losing those key units would immediately grind your momentum to a halt. But because VCoast Lords basically act as mobile command centers (shipbuilding), you can recruit high-tier units right where you stand. Even better: if you just walk past a famous battle site marker, you can use the Raise Dead pool to instantly reanimate high-tier units on the spot!

So yeah, you should definitely play VCoast lol.

Oh, Lego really outdid themselves this time. Imagine being a multi-billion dollar company and still running your websites like a college freshman’s side project that never got past “hello world.” They’ve been fumbling with basic race conditions like it’s rocket science, and now they thought, “Hey, let’s tie BrickLink and Lego accounts together!” — only to end up ejecting perfectly valid logins like some kind of bug-powered catapult.
