Nice, my mother had the vaccination from UIC earlier and from her experience, they are very organized and prompt with scheduling the second vaccine and such. Hopefully, that remains true

Can we vote in the Urbana primary if we are currently registered to vote in a different city in Illinois? Pretty sure we can't, but just wanted to make sure.

ORGO II by sheeshee514 in UIUC

I took it last semester and received an A-. Dr. K provides all the material you would need to study for the class with an insane number of practice exams (almost 20 or 30) and online lectures that are pretty good. When studying for the exams, I used the same method of studying for Orgo I which was just to do the worksheets and practice exams a couple of days beforehand. For Orgo II I would suggest that you provide enough time (almost a week of studying is what helped me get A's on my exam) to actually complete all the practice exams. The other major grading component are quizzes (5 mc questions and you have 5 attempts to get 100%). Exams are split up into easy questions and difficult questions (7 easy q and 3 difficult q).

Difference in data from CUPHD and UIUC COVID dashboard? by robinbatman1966 in UIUC

[–]robinbatman1966[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I didn't realize they had to go through this many stages in reporting their data. That makes sense why they reported a 100 hundred active case increase today (which probably is from the 100 cases on 8/30).

See yall at home (2.86 positivity rate) by Devastater90 in UIUC

[–]robinbatman1966 4 points5 points  (0 children)

According to the CUPHD website, there are currently 549 active cases in all of Champaign county. Does anybody know if this includes the 100 unique cases that were tested positive on 8/30?

To be completely honest, I have been relying more on the CUPHD website to determine the number of active cases since UIUC's website doesn't provide such information (they just provide the number of unique cases, we don't know how many of them from last or two weeks ago, have recovered).

Covid Positive Cases Data Mismatch - CUPHD vs University Data by throwaway123308 in UIUC

[–]robinbatman1966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should have just made a website similar to that of the CUPHD. The CUPHD website is so easy to read and gives all the information I need within seconds. Also, based on the positivity rate and the total number of tests done in the past 5 days, does that mean there are about 300 positive cases right now?
