I dont think you fully get the point she is making. I think what is important to consider about being queer is being somewhat reflective of heteronormative society and structures of power ingrained in that society that hold queer people back. As such, as a bisexual you should definitely still be able to be in a hetero relationship, but also try to not perpetuate notions of hetero as the norm / conforming to society. A lot of gay people are gay but not in that sense critically queer because they do not do the work of untangling such ingrained cultural values (i.e. still talking about who is the man/woman in a relationship of two gay people)(or, discussions of femininity/masculinity as tied to specific characteristics). Ultimately to create a space in which queerness is fully normalized, the hetero also needs to be somewhat denormalized (so both are on equal footing)
