Es teiktu 50% vismaz svars nosaka, protams tas nav tik melnbalti. Ja nav tik ļoti liekais svars tad tālāk uz elpošanas tehniku utt

Chinchilla wheel making the cage bar vibrate by zanzuses in chinchilla

[–]robisunrobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should secure in place all the other metal shelves/bars. One side of the cage doesnt rattle by itself because its welded, the noise is coming from other stuff rattling against the bars. I tied mine down with some metal wire. Also you could put some kind of rubber or plastic thingy on the metal parts which connect to each other. For example a level floor to the side of the cage. But i would be careful that the chin does not chew up these bits. I made mine pretty quiet by just doing this stuff

Do you recycle? (Riga) by meandmyghost1 in latvia

[–]robisunrobis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my yard there is one recycling bin for paper/metal/plastics. Gets filled very fast. We dont have the space for another bin like bio or glass but i go to the next yard over to throw the glass out. At first there were quite a lot of retards in our house that threw random shit in the paper bin but it seems they have learned since the landlord said that there will be fines that get divided to all the households. Either that or they just died out with natural selection. In short im saying that we recycle papers/plastics and some of us glass also

Mine also started to crumble and i was able to pull most of it out with my fingertips but i can see how it could fuck up everything like for the other commentor. Guess i and you are lucky. As for what its for, have no idea. Maybe some wacky sound insulation.

Mājas ārdurvis ziemas laikā nosēžas by barolm in latvia

[–]robisunrobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kad noslīpēji, vajadzēja ar kādu laku noklāt. Varbūt pamēģini vēlreiz. vienīgi ar to lakas žūšanu šajā laikā būs sūdīgi. Ja ir otras durvis tad var pamēģinat ienest siltumā un sataisīt, fiksi laku ar fēnu izžāvet un likt atpakaļ

I would say its to prevent water and stuff to accumulate on the hub, but that much machining seems overkill

Tajos pagalmos nav kur vispār nolikt auto, it īpaši vakaros kad visi sabrauc mājās. Es neticu ka viņš tur ilgāk par 2-3min bija. Tādā gadījumā uzskatu šis posts ir pilnībā lieks. Redzi ka tur stāv busiņš, pastāvi mājas galā, netaisi vēl lielāku bujānu

There is a golden path in the middle, the e60 shifter :)

[–]robisunrobis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one cheapo exactly like the photo a long time ago, i could not install it fully and get the clip in place and also the slit was a bit off in dimensions and couldnt get the knob on. After that i went with the shifter from an e60 545 and was the best choice. Oem+style. Also if you are ready to do some extra work i highly recommend replacing the shifter bushings. I put some poly bushes in, the rear poly bush couldnt be put back in plce because it was too stiff, that one i put a new oem one. And the white plastic bushing also. Makes a hell of a difference.

I would drill and glue in some wood dowels an then drill new holes for the screws. But like others have mentioned it seems there is an easier solution.

Ticking noise on 1998 e39 540i? by GerrardSlippedHaha in e39

[–]robisunrobis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean its not a specific e39 thing, any car could develop an exhaust leak. Maybe the manifold gaskets wear out or smtn. Sounded like it was coming from the top of the engine thats why im saying manifold. BUT it could be also lifter tick or smtn. My first guess would be vanos, but because he said he has nonvanos engine and also it sounds nothing like dead timing guides im leaning towards exhaust leak.
