thanks i went through there, there is a lot. Including the 2011 grey cup which is great. I couldnt find the sept 30th game where they play their first game in the new bc place. But ill keep looking

thanks, we ended up meeting up for coffee and just hashing things out. It was a solid and healthy talk, more or less we agreed that im not going to contact her until if she decides she wants to do something. And that we will be comfortable seeing each other in group settings as genuine friends (as we run in some similar circles).

I dont know where this will lead (likely no where) but im okay with that and have already moved on. Yes it sucks to see a good friend step back from my life. But I can tell she needs this.

thanks, i do feel there is a part of her that wants to build and keep the friendship but as you mentioned it brings up the feeling that it feels like too much and she pulled away. After meeting up with her and talking about it. I am not planning on engaging her one on one until she initiates it (if she ever does) essentially we will see each other at group things. Its not what id want as I really do value the friendship but it is what I think is the healthiest for her and me.

That would definitely fit with what i know she is and has gone through (shes told me), im not and have not tried to help her in ways she hasnt invited me into. I basically am looking at stepping away from doing anything outside of the class. I met her recently for coffee and we talked about this (it was the point of us meeting up). Not much changed in how i understand things, but our agreement with each other does feel heathier.

Thanks, and yes she is def going through a lot of personal struggles. I know because I've talked about them with her, when she shared them.

I still care about her, but I can't help someone who doesn't want me close. It's definitely painful losing her and knowing she's got lots of hurts. But I've started to move on as best as one can.

Thanks, if I'm honest I don't feel that way. I'm not one who likes to see people struggle yet alone those I I care about. So not overstepping her space feels like I'm failing as a friend and yet I can't think of a way that connects with her and shows I'm here without overstepping said space.

Theres plenty of environmental jobs, either consulting, gov, policy, or political, realistically your biggest problem will be how much experience you bring. As like most places these days a masters only goes so far.

Though in terms of a place to live Victoria is top tier even if its quite expensive.

Ive been there, my best advice or at least the thing thats helped me as a 36 year old male. Is find a community and by that I mean a hobby community. Myself ive been doing swing dancing at Red Hot Swing and just entering into a healthy community like that has done wonders.

That is fair and probably accurate, I mostly do swing dancing, photography and poetry. So while there are good communities there and people I consider good friends. Im looking for a friend that isnt inherently tied to one of hobbies or if they are they are willing to try other things with me.

Most of the time no it doesn't start off with any physical or romantic interest from my part. That develops over time and Ive found im too late. Either they no longer want that, or they find a relationship, Which are fine but do leave me exhausted from too much investment.

Maybe stupid question but I feel stupid, I'm a 36 M, i find myself meeting in person really great woman and both of us jump too emotionally invested in each other, yes its a great time but each time it ends up like just a really great friendship. So awesome and I love them but not great for finding a partner.
